Off The Record: A Place to Be Yourself

A Place To Be Yourself is a short promotional film for Bristol-based mental health service Off The Record, depicting a young woman’s feelings of social isolation and pressure in an environment dominated by peers obsessed with personal image and artificial happiness disconnected from reality.

Using a strong visual motif brought to life by impeccable production design, cinematography and sound design, this student project was a pleasure to produce. Our collaboration with Off The Record was a mutually beneficial experience, providing a challenge to all departments and giving the team a chance to work cohesively to create a product that was met with enthusiasm by the client.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Off The Record have postponed official release of this film. We look forward to the day their doors reopen fully.
